Heres the extended version of the trailer (~90 seconds) in HD form.
So far the reaction to the game has been great. Im looking forward to the next media release we put out. Be sure to check out the official site of CoD4:MW at www.CharlieOscarDelta.com
Thankfully I've recovered admin access to my website, and can now post news like I originally intended. I cant really say anything about the game that I'm working on, other than we've hit first playable and that you should see a press release from Infinity Ward sometime in April/May, so keep a lookout for it.
E3 [May 14th, 2006]
On May 11th (2nd day of E3) I got my first chance to actually goto the expo (as all of Infinity Ward went), and I can safely say that it was everything I thought it would be. Lots of stuff going on, lots of games to marvel at and lots of games to play. The only disappointment was the severe lack of anything to sit down on, but I figured that would happen anyways. While I didnt get to see all that I wanted, I did get to check alot alot of stuff that I did want to see, such as Quake Wars, MGS4, Crysis and MS Flight Simulator X.
Also, if you have some cash, check out SiN: Emergence as its definetly worth the $20. Lots of quality has gone into it, and it shows.
Windows [April 23-25, 2006]
Since I finished this rather quickly I thought I'd just lump this news post together with both the WIP shots and the complete shot. Below is a scene I created using custom content along with CS:S/DoD:S/HL2 content. Not sure if I'll continue the scene into a full map, but I think it looks good as is.
If you want a desktop version of the shot, you can get it here. Enjoy.
Launch [April 14, 2006]
Welcome to the new website! Big thanks to Digital_Utopia for creating it and getting it all together, so be sure to check out his website at www.digitalutopia.org and donate to him if you feel kind enough to do so. As you can see, the new website is much more organized and clean, so I can finally display all of the content I've created over the years. If you happen to catch any errors, drop me a line so I can get them fixed.
Cabaret is also now availible for download in the CS:S section, so if you havent checked it out yet, go ahead and do so as I believe its my best map out to date.
Its been getting good comments and reviews, and is being showcased on a few frontpages of different HL2/CS:S websites, so thats always a good sign.
I've also landed a job at Infinity Ward after going down to their studio for an interview a few days ago, and I'll be relocating to their offices in California in the coming weeks to begin work on what will hopefully be a great game in part because of what I can create for it. Im excited and eager to begin work, as I have a lot to learn and a lot to look forward to. It just goes to show that if you try hard enough, you can succeed.
